More than 40 local health and human care organizations depend on United Way to raise money for critical programs that provide solutions to community problems. The Community Care Fund offers donors a way to help thousands of people with one gift. Nearly 100 volunteers make sure your donations are used to help people in Brevard. For each agency requesting funding, these volunteers review the budgets, visit the agencies and talk to clients to learn more about the quality of services provided. With that information in hand, they decide how to best use the available dollars to have the greatest impact. And your contribution doesn’t stop there! The total United Way community impact is $19,815,742 thanks to match dollars from state and federal funding sources as well as grants and other United Way initiatives.
